The 9th International Cloud Modeling strategy is similar to past cloud modeling workshops that have used observationally-derived case studies to provide a framework for model intercomparisons.

The workshop will be divided into plenary sessions and working group sessions centered around each of the case studies. Workshop cases include:

1. Organized mid-latitude continental deep convection and aerosol impacts
2. COPE convection over SW England
3. Orographic clouds: Agl seeding cloud impact investigation (ASCII)
4. VOCALS aerosol-cloud-precipitation interactions.
