This talk will give a brief overview of methods that have been applied to perform uncertainty analysis of integrated assessment models. I will focus primarily on reviewing efforts to quantify the cascade of uncertainty from economic/social uncertainties to global climate uncertainties to uncertainties in impact and even valuation. Insights to date will be summarized and an objective is to frame a discussion of critical next steps for a research agenda on uncertainty in climate change assessment.
